AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HOME OCCUPATION PROVISIONS OF
THE VILLAGE ZONING REGULATIONS

WHEREAS, the Village of Colfax has received numerous complaints regarding home occupations in single family residential districts that would normally require business licensing.

WHEREAS, the Village of Colfax has received numerous complaints regarding home occupations in single family residential districts that are specifically enumerated in Section 7.1 of the Business District regulations for uses.

WHEREAS, such occupations serve as a nuisance for residents who rely on the Village and the enforcement of its ordinances to bifurcate appropriate commerce from residential enjoyment.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF COLFAX, SITUATED IN THE COUNTY OF
Mc LEAN AND STATE OF ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
